Wadi Al-Dawaser Project

Third amongst Al-Rajhi Company for Agriculture's projects, this project aimed at completing the variety and integration of agricultural and livestock production and supports the local market by providing its food requirements. The project, which was established in 1982 (1402H) occupy an area of 10,000 hectares, includes huge fields of wheat, barley, corn and clover irrigated by 184 center pivots, with large numbers of palm, guava and citrus trees. Wadi Al Dawaser also has the largest camel farms in the Kingdom which produces huge quantities of milk, in addition to the sheep farm for meat and milk productions.The project is located in Wadi Al-Dawaser province and is connected to the city of Wadi Al-Dawaser by a paved road which has given the project a great feature because it has facilitated movement and marketing.
The project was established in 1982 and lays on an area of (10,000) hectares. It is planted by usin central sprinkling where there are 184 central sprinkler. And the project is distinguished by its application of the agricultural cycle which gives it a good feature for decreasing weeds and diseases and therefore decreasing the use of pesticides.
The project is also distinguished in using local fertilizers to produce fruit and vegetables which are marketed throughout the company stores.
The project produces forage such as clover, rodes, corn and cereals like wheat, barley and yellow corn. Palm trees, grapes and nabk are planted in the project not to mention the live stock department for raising and fatening najdi sheep.
